History
The Vasantdada Patil Pratishthan is a Trust which was established in 1981 and is registered under Society's Registration Act 1860 and Bombay Public Trust Act 1950.
The Trust is established with intention of imparting quality education in field of Engineering and Architecture. By keeping this goal in the mind the Trust always strived hard in achieving this motto.
In the year 1990, the trust started Engineering College in the name of Padmabhushan Vasantdada Patil Pratishthan's College of Engineering, with the grace and blessings of Late Pad. Vasantdada Patil, the former Chief Minister of Maharashtra and Governor of Rajasthan and reached to the peak of success in delivering technical education with the help of late Shri Manohar Mama Phalke, who was the pioneer of this mission. Since then, the Trust is engaged in delivering excellent and supreme technical Manpower on worldwide basis.
The Trust has now resolved to commence an Architecture College from Academic Year 2018-19 with the same motto of striving hard towards achieving excellence in Architectural education.
The college campus including building, is spread over a total area of 7.34 acres of land out of which 4 acres is for playground. It is located in the heart of Mumbai city, on Eastern Express Highway and closely connected with central and harbour line train stations.
The College is approved by Council of Architecture (COA), New Delhi and Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Maharashtra and affiliated to University of Mumbai to conduct Five Years degree course in Architecture Education.
It is the only College of Architecture in the Eastern Suburbs. Course:-Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) With 40 Intake. College Timing:- 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
